We are aware of the students concerns around the ResLife deadline for on campus living and are aware that your classes will most likely influence this decision. Some students have suggested that the SGA start a petition to extent this deadline. Unfortunately starting a petition less than 3 days before the deadline may not be as effective as it could be if it was started earlier. The best way right now is for us to communicate with the administration. Although we will not be starting a petition, the SGA President has made the Dean of Students aware of the concerns and has communicated their solution/suggestion. We are hoping that these conversations and shared concerns will lead to clear communications of which classes will be remote, in person, or a hybrid and lead to giving students the ability to make their decisions based on their individual classes.
