Our last day in Saratoga. Club 55’s visited the Oklahoma Training Track and watched the horses warm up for today’s races. After the Training Track we had a guided tour of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. On to the track where we had lunch and grandstand seating for the first six races.
Everyone had a great time. Many thanks to Sue and Xavier from Yankee Bus Line for a wonderful trip!!

Club 55 has been on the move. On Thursday, some folks went shopping at the Lake George Outlets, others visited downtown Saratoga for shopping and lunch, while others went to the Casino. On Thursday night, we went to Lake George for a dinner cruise on board the “Lac Du Saint Sacrement” and danced the night away. Watch for Saratoga Racetrack pictures later in the day on Friday.

Club 55 arrived at our hotel in Glens Falls, NY in time to relax and freshen up. Now we’re at the Lake George Dinner Theater for supper and to watch the Marvelous Wonderettes show of 50’s and 60’s music.

Education and Career Development staff recently visited several SLIP interns at their internship sites and were excited to see the valuable experiences and skills they gained throughout the summer.

As the season comes to a close, it's bittersweet to see the program end. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the South Boston businesses and organizations that hosted our SLIP interns this summer and helped make their experience so meaningful and successful.
