Happy Momentum Monday! This week, we're shining a light on Patricia Busso, a Boston-based artist who is participating in Metro Housing|Boston's What Walls Can Hold art auction later this summer.

Patricia spends her days as a high school math teacher and in her free time trades her pencil for a paintbrush. Known for impressionistic and abstract landscapes, her piece Current captures marshes in deep greens alongside waterways in a soft, neutral tone. The work is created using pigmented wax, torched directly onto a wood panel to blend the paint and bond it to the surface.

We are excited to introduce Momentum Mondays! Starting today, we will be highlighting feel-good stories about our participants and supporters who make our mission meaningful and possible. Let’s get our Mondays off to an inspirational start!

Two weeks ago, Team Metro Housing participated in Boston’s Run to Remember, raising funds to support our housing stability programs.

Metro Housing|Boston will be closed on Monday, May 5, in observance of Memorial Day. We will re-open Tuesday, May 26, at 9 am for scheduled appointments. The next HCEC walk-in day is Monday, June 1. Programs are still accessible through phone, email, or via appointment scheduling.
