The winners of our recent Library Card Design Contest are here just in time for Library Card Sign-Up Month!🦁

With over 400 entries from BPL library card holders, the following patrons were selected as winners!

The three new designs printed on library cards will be available starting on Sep 1, 2026, at all locations, and will remain in circulation throughout 2027 while supplies last.

Read Your Way to Fenway is back! Boston youth are invited to participate in a fun reading contest for a chance to win tickets to a Red Sox game!⚾

❤️ How does it work?
Read three books over the summer and write a short essay about one of them.

🤍 How do you apply?
Visit your local library for an application, or download one online. Once completed, bring it to any Boston Public Library location.

Submissions are due on July 24, 2026. Learn more about the contest at bpl.org/read-your-way-to-fenway.
