Norfolk County Registry of Deeds Visits Long Lost Friend

Norfolk County Register of Deeds William P. O'Donnell appeared as a guest speaker at the Hyde Park Historical Society along with Suffolk Registry of Deeds Register Stephen J. Murphy and Suffolk Registry of Deeds First Assistant Register Thomas M. Ryan, as part of his ongoing efforts to bring the Registry of Deeds directly to residents, including those from Hyde Park, a town that was once part of Norfolk County.

REGISTRY CLOSED UPDATE- 1/4/2021

The Suffolk County Registry of Deeds will be closed Monday January 4th due to a deep COVID-19 cleaning of the Brooke Courthouse. We will only be accepting recordings remotely – no drop box is available. The registry will be open for normal business hours on Tuesday January 5, 2021. www.suffolkdeeds.com

The Edward Brooke Courthouse is closed for today, December 17th. The Suffolk Registry of Deeds will be closed. We will, however continue to record all instruments on line at suffolkdeeds.com. We expect to reopen on Friday December 18th, but are awaiting confirmation from the trial court. Stay tuned and stay safe!

The Suffolk Registry of Deeds will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 due to a covid emergency at the Edward Brooke Courthouse. Electronic recording will be available and we will be in touch when the courthouse reopens.

In honor and remembrance of our office will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th. Thank you to our heroes who served our country. 🇺🇸

Friday Closing

The Edward W. Brooke Courthouse is closed on Friday, September 18, 2020 in remembrance of the passing of Chief Justice Ralph D. Gants of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

As a result, the Suffolk Registry of Deeds will be closed and the only available form of recording is the electronic recording of Recorded Land – no Mail, Walk-In/Drop-Box recordings or Registered Land will be recorded.

The Registry will be open on Monday, September 21, 2020 for e-recording and the recording of all Recorded and Registered Land submitted via mail of Drop-Box.

08/30/2020

The Suffolk Registry of Deeds will be closed on Monday, August 31, 2020 for a deep cleaning and will reopen on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. The only recording available on Monday is electronic recording which will be performed offsite. Thank you for your patience & understanding.
