a just society. We work for legislation and policies to support our goals through a coalition of dozens of member organizations and talented volunteers. We support transportation investment that serves all people in all modes, with a focus on public transportation, walking and cycling as central to a sustainable future. Our reports, campaigns and programs aim for high standards and good outcomes, such as adequate funding, cost-effectiveness, transparent governance, social equity, access to opportunity and improved public health. Join Cyclists Union (BCU) for a Juneteenth Freedom Ride as they honor the resilience, culture, and history of Black communities as they hit the streets of Dorchester and Roxbury.

BCU will be touring powerful murals by Black and Brown artists and diving deep into the history rooted right here in our own neighborhoods.

From panels on Microtransit to the future of rural transit investments and cross-county collaboration, Demand response, ADA Paratransit, the conversations were inspiring and essential. It’s clear that when we come together to share ideas, we build a stronger path forward for transit riders across the state.

Join Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative , Climate Code Blue, and Communities Responding to Extreme Weather for a free community event that will feature tips, tools, and resources to help you stay safe and cool this summer. New this year: a resource fair connecting attendees with programs that can help lower your energy costs.

There will be Spanish interpretation, childcare, snacks and light refreshments, free giveaways, and a raffle for window AC units will be available. More details and location information coming soon.

Our members at the Allston-Brighton Health Collaborative (ABHC) are taking matters into their own hands with "Breathe Easy, Allston Brighton"—a new air quality monitoring study near I-90.

ABHC has launched a critical 18-month community-led study, "Breathe Easy, Allston Brighton," to measure particulate matter exposure for residents living within a mile of the Mass Pike (I-90). By deploying local air quality sensors, they are finally gathering the data needed to center public health in the conversation around this massive infrastructure project.

It’s a powerful example of community-led science forcing the conversation toward environmental justice.

This year CommonWheels has a fix-your-bike repair clinic at market, brought to you by T4MA's Impact Grant. Stop by to tune up your bike with the help of volunteers. The Brighton Farmers market will be operating every Wednesday from June 10 through October 28th from 1:30PM-6:30PM (October months from 1:30-6PM).
