📢 Faculty Recruitment | Part-Time Adjunct Instructors Needed at Loyola University Chicago
The Department of Engineering at Loyola University Chicago is seeking Part-Time Adjunct Instructors to teach during the Fall 2026 Semester. If you have a strong academic or industry background in engineering, we encourage you to apply!
📚 Courses Available
1. Digital Electronics
Section 1: MWF 8:15–9:05 AM
Section 2: MWF 9:20–10:10 AM
Focuses on hands-on, project-based learning in digital design and computer architecture.
2. Introduction to Engineering Design
MWF 9:20–11:10 AM
Covers engineering design fundamentals, CAD, teamwork, engineering ethics, requirements specification, and iterative design. Students complete a team-based design project. Course materials and instructional resources will be provided.
3. Core Engineering Lab
Tuesday & Thursday 11:30 AM–1:30 PM
A laboratory course that provides students with hands-on opportunities to apply concepts learned in their core engineering courses. Course materials and instructional resources will be provided.
✅ Qualifications
Preferred: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Applicants with a master's degree in a relevant field and significant industry experience will also be considered.
💰 Compensation
USD $7,021.18–$7,772.21 per 3-credit course, depending on qualifications.
