🤖 As robotics continues to advance, Israeli students are showcasing their innovation on the world stage. 🇮🇱 🏆🥇

At the WPI Annual FIRST LEGO League (WAFFLE) event, four outstanding teams from Herzliya, Dimona, Tel Aviv, and Petah Tikva demonstrated creativity, ingenuity, and problem-solving skills while competing alongside peers from around the globe.

The 🇮🇱 Israeli teams achievements included 1st Place in Robot Performance, the Project Innovation Award, and the tournament’s highest honor, the Champion’s Award. 🏆

Consul General Benjamin Sharoni was proud to meet with these talented young innovators and learn about the robots, ideas, and teamwork behind their success.

We will continue cheering them on and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next. 🚀

Thank you to for hosting such an inspiring international celebration of robotics, teamwork, and innovation! 🌎🤖

Consul General Benjamin Sharoni had the privilege of delivering the opening remarks for “Choosing Light,” an evening celebrating the life and legacy of Yotam Haim at Congregation Kehillath Israel in Brookline.

Yotam was a musician, a son, a friend, and one of the souls taken from us on October 7th. Through the music he loved, the memories his community shared, and the deeply moving words of Iris and Tuval Haim, we came to know a young man whose spirit, creativity, and joy for life continue to touch people he never had the chance to meet.

We gathered not only to grieve, but also to ensure that each of the lives lost is known, remembered, and honored as the full and irreplaceable people they were. Yotam’s light endures. 🕯️

Last week, Consul General Benjamin Sharoni joined the Consul General of India Shri Raghuram S., Colette Phillips, and Meena Bharath of the Meher Foundation at “Building Bridges: India-Israel,” a gathering of over 50 leaders from Boston’s Indian and Israeli communities.

We are two ancient peoples, each with ancient cultures, ancient languages, and ancient homelands. Two innovation economies with so much to build together.

We are grateful for our Indian friends and partners right here in Boston and beyond.

85 years ago, the Farhud pogrom shattered one of the oldest Jewish communities in the world.

In June 1941, mobs in Baghdad brutally attacked, murdered, assaulted, and looted Jews simply for being Jewish. The Farhud was not only a tragedy for Iraqi Jewry - it became a symbol of the persecution faced by Jewish communities across the Middle East.

Today, we remember the victims, honor the rich heritage of Iraqi Jews, and reaffirm the importance of standing against antisemitism, hatred, and incitement.

A beach. Families. Children. Then, a missile.

Hezbollah fired toward civilians in Nahariya, striking just meters from the shoreline. In seconds, a peaceful weekend became fear, chaos, and a fight to survive.

All while a ceasefire is supposedly in place. Hezbollah continues violating it day after day.

For over two years, the UN laundered Hamas propaganda, manufactured fake aid statistics, and called it "authoritative data."

Today, the curtain comes down.

The systematic information manipulation machine operating under the UN is now exposed. See the evidence for yourself: 👇
