This morning, Treasury staff volunteered at The Greater Boston Food Bank. Here they helped prepare boxes of food for families all across the Commonwealth who are in need of food assistance. 💕

This morning, Treasury staff volunteered at the MSPCA-Angell. Here they helped clean the shelter and even got the opportunity to hang out with some of the furry friends!

It's the holiday season and Treasury loves to celebrate!

Earlier this week the whole organization got together to celebrate the winter season and reflect on the yearlong programs that have run throughout the ️ Congratulations to our LEAD, MASTERS, and Mentorship participants on completing their programs, and a special congrats to our bake off champion and ugly sweater winner!

Yesterday, Treasury and Massachusetts State Lottery employees volunteered at the New England Wildlife Center. Here, volunteers helped to carve pumpkins in preparation for their Halloween festivities! Thank you to our employees for volunteering!

Ever toured the Massachusetts State House? Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Working Group's Recruitment Committee hosted State House tours for employees to see the historic structure that Treasury calls home!

On Monday, Treasury hosted our DEI&B Culture Fair! Employees volunteered to host booths to showcase their culture through traditions, food, and more. Each booth presented about their country and their connection, then we had time for people to mingle and try all of the delicious foods that people made.

Thank you to all of our employees who both attended and volunteered for booths, this was such an amazing experience!

Earlier this week we hosted our monthly Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging conversation to uplift voices in our community that have been spoken over or silenced. This month we held "The World is Our Classroom: A Dialogue on Leveraging Volunteerism to Promote Professional Development, Civic Engagement, and Personal Growth".

We are so grateful to Andrew Russell and Samantha Isabel Calero for joining us and to Treasury's very own volunteer superstars Reginald Steele, and Ralph Sacramone for joining us on this panel live at the Massachusetts State Lottery Dorchester Headquarters! We discussed the importance of volunteer work in today's climate, small acts of kindness that can are volunteerism in your community, and the importance of volunteering in the workplace. This was an amazing panel, great chance to see everyone in person and excellent discussion!

Today we partnered with our sister agency the MSBA and joined them in a volunteering event! We volunteered at Fallen Heroes and helped prepared for a clothing sale for Veterans across the Commonwealth.
