Huge thanks to Barnes & Thornburg LLP for the 4th year of showing up for our students! This year, 150 first-year college students received everyday essentials, snacks, and school supplies to help them kick off the semester.

A couple of our students have already sent their thanks! 🥹 We’re so grateful for a community that keeps cheering our students on! 🎉

It's back to school time!

Thinking of more ways to support our students and our Coaches this year? Check out our Coach Classroom Wish List on Amazon. There is something for everyone.

Our coaches work in schools year-round and need supplies to stay organized and keep students engaged. Your support would mean so much to our students and coaches. If you donate, please make sure to leave a note so we know who it's from!

Congratulations students: you persisted, graduated, and are taking the next step toward your future!

Behind every cap and gown is a student who worked hard, overcame challenges, and kept going. But as June comes to a close, we're facing a significant funding gap. We still need to raise $39,000 by June 30 to ensure students continue receiving the personalized coaching that helps make these milestones possible.

If you're able, please make a gift before June 30. Every donation moves us closer to our goal—and closer to helping more students achieve theirs.

We are honored to be a recipient of Northeastern’s Heart of Community Grant. Thank you to Northeastern for recognizing our mission and for being an active partner in changing students’ lives through education.

We are especially grateful that Northeastern serves as a home away from home for 44 Passport to College/Alumni Success students pursuing degrees in Engineering, Architecture, Health Sciences, and many other fields of study. Your commitment to student success and community impact makes a difference.

We are excited to continue growing this partnership and creating more opportunities together.

Our community showed up BIG for this year’s Journey to Greatness Celebration 🌟

Together, we celebrated the 2,000+ students we supported this year across 3 school districts — including our 500 graduating seniors 🎓💙

The night was a powerful reminder of what happens when first-generation young people are given the tools, guidance, and opportunities they deserve. Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in our students and their futures.

Thank you for hosting us in your space. We are so grateful for your support.

The future is bright!

19 Passport to College students from 6 of our Boston Public partner high schools experienced Salem State University firsthand on this field trip.

Most students are Seniors who are considering Salem State but had not yet had the opportunity to see the campus for themselves.

Ash Cruz from Josiah Quincy Upper School had this to say, “I’m thankful for the opportunity the Boston HERC staff gave me!! Visiting Salem State was such a fun experience, allowing me to meet other teens who were interested in the college. This opportunity has helped me move closer and helped me narrow down what college I want to go to in the fall.”
