The International Emergency Department Leadership Institute (IEDLI) provides the skills and knowledge

IEDLI is held once a year over a one week period in a different city each year. Four interactive courses are offered consisting of group work, seminars, workshops, and more. Created and taught by Harvard Medical School faculty and other international experts, the IEDLI program will challenge the way you think about the problems facing your Emergency Department. Introducing our vCOP Subject Matter Expert for June's session on "Palliative Care in the Emergency Department":

Dr. Kei Ouchi is a clinician‑scientist and emergency physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. Dual‑board certified in Emergency and Internal Medicine, his research bridges emergency medicine, palliative care, and transitional care to improve patient‑centered care for seriously ill older adults.
