We have extended the application period for the Assessment Clerk job opening. The Assessment Clerk performs complex clerical and staff work in a municipal assessor’s office. Responsibilities include maintaining assessment records, entering new assessments and changes, answering public inquiries, assisting with property apportionment, conducting field checks, computing valuations, compiling information for reviews and reports, recording decisions, and evaluating exemptions. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of business experience (with at least one year in property assessment, sales, or related clerical work), and the ability to work accurately, communicate effectively, and utilize office practices and computer systems.
