Provides Department of Defense expertise in an Inter-agency environment. Conducts daily coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), US Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP), the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), the United States Secret Service (USSS) and other Federal, State and Local agencies. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for the appropriate use a

nd availability of Military Capabilities for use in Homeland Defense and Civil Support Operations within their respective Region. Fully integrated working members for HD/CS planning and operations with the States and assigned FEMA Region.
