World Ocean School

World Ocean School Experiential education, public sails, and private charter events aboard our two historic tall ships.

World Ocean School exists to provide students of all backgrounds with immersive opportunities to learn to care for themselves, their crew, and the ir ship, becoming vessels of change in the world they inherit. We operate programs aboard the traditionally rigged schooners Roseway and Denis Sullivan.

This Saturday, Denis Sullivan transforms into HMS Falcon for the Battle of Gloucester, one of the earliest naval engagements of the American Revolution.

Watch the cannon fire and battle unfold in Gloucester Harbor.

Then join us from 5–7 PM for an evening harbor sail aboard Denis Sullivan.
