Honoring the fallen: EBHS cadets, community leaders, representatives, the Boston Police Department, Boston Fire, Veterans posts, veterans, parents and the public gathered at Bertulli Park (Central Square) to lay wreaths there and st the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

There is no parking in the high school parking lot and driveway on Saturday, May 23 between 6 am - 6 pm due to tree cutting work along lot and driveway perimeters.

Please, do not park anywhere in the high school on Saturday.

⚾💙 17th Annual “Strike Out Colon Cancer” Baseball Tournament 💙⚾

The EBHS Jets Baseball Team will once again host and participate in our annual “Strike Out Colon Cancer” Tournament this weekend at East Boston Stadium.

This cause is especially meaningful to our school community, as Mrs. Carrie Brangiforte, wife of our Headmaster Mr. Brangiforte, was diagnosed with colon cancer 16 years ago and is thankfully still with us today. Over the past 17 years, the tournament has raised more than $43,000 to support colon cancer research, treatments, and potential cures. 💙

Please join us in celebrating our seniors Dennis Antrim and Roman Cinelli on Saturday morning!

🎉💙 Happy Principal’s Day, Mr. Brangiforte! 💙🎉

Today we proudly celebrate our incredible Headmaster, Mr. Phillip Brangiforte, and his outstanding leadership at East Boston High School! ✈️

With 36 years at EBHS, including 13 years as Headmaster, Mr. Brangiforte has dedicated his career to serving our students, families, and community. As an EBHS alumnus, his commitment runs deep.

Under his leadership, EBHS has seen tremendous growth:
📈 Went from the 3rd percentile to the 33rd in accountability.
📈 Graduation rates increased significantly (94.6% for the 2025 cohort)
🏆 Winner of the EdVestors School on the Move Prize (2023)
🌟 Recognized as “Man of the Year” (2019) by the East Boston Times-Free Press

Mr. Brangiforte’s focus on supporting all students, especially multilingual learners and students with diverse needs, has helped shape EBHS into a strong, inclusive, and thriving school community.
