We are so excited to be adding to and upgrading our Pathways program by welcoming The Life After Prison program and The Dignity Institute. Both agencies will offer life altering, diversion and recidivism prevention program to our existing workshops that immediately follow HiSET classes.

We are thrilled to partner with these agencies whose mission is to ensure that our young adult receive the best, relevant information that aims to change the trajectory of their lives!

An amazing day and one for the books as Charlestown Adult Education, Workforce, and Reentry graduates its largest graduating class of 49 bright, talented, and inspiring young men and women!! The energy in the room was infectious as family and friends and supporters came to celebrate the special day. Standing room only!!!

Happy New Year!!! We say that over and over again for a few months after January 1st, but do we really absorb what it means. New Year!! A chance to rebuild what collapsed, to retry things that failed, and to change anything in our control that we want to change.

I woke up feeling very inspired today. My inspiration always comes from my family and my job. My staff, the young adults that I work with and all of the students that come to my program for a second chance.

I have a lot of hope for this year, in my career and in my personal life. I plan to make sure that anybody who comes through my doors at work gets the best possible education and stabilization that we can provide. So far this year, 21 students have graduated with their HiSET Certification. We have many more heading in the same direction. I am honored and blessed to be able to do this work and to make a difference that changes the trajectory of the lives of those we touch!

Cheers to another year of breaking down barriers, and making policy changes that build equity ACROSS THE BOARD, for all humans. Continue to show support and do your work with love and passion!!!

We are very grateful for our partnership with Boston Municipal Courts, especially, but not exclusively, Charlestown, Roxbury and Dorchester, and the Committee for Public Council, Public Defenders Division, who share in our mission to divert our emerging adults from prosecution and incarceration when possible. Together, we have diverted many young adults to my program, and that has changed the trajectory of their lives. We will continue to grow these partnerships in the upcoming year, so that our emerging adults can continue to prosper.

We are thrilled to announce that we have 16 HiSET graduates and many more who have just one or two tests left! We are so proud of all of our students, who fight against the adversity in their lives and return to school. It certainly is not an easy journey, but it is a very rewarding one. These 16 students have gone on to a job, job training, or post- secondary education.

To all of our students, we are honored that you chose our program to continue your education. We enjoy working with all of you. To our graduates, go show the world exactly what you are made of!
