Massachusetts Clean Water Trust Massachusetts Water Pollution Abatement Trust established in 1989 pursuant to Title VI of the Feder MWPAT encourages Massachusetts' resident investors.

The Trust administers loan programs that provide funding to cities, towns, other governmental units, and private entities for the purpose of financing improvements to drinking water and wastewater infrastructure. To qualify for a loan, the project must be approved by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). State Revolving Fund Loans to Massachusetts Cities and Towns for their Clean Water

, Drinking Water and/or the Title 5 Projects. Investing in Massachusetts and participating in Commonwealth bond sales through the Buy Massachusetts Bonds website has been made easier for Massachusetts residents. By purchasing bonds issued by the Commonwealth and its agencies, investors are contributing to the Commonwealth's statewide program to re-invest in public infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water and sewer systems, Water Pollution Abatement projects, schools, public parks, college and university facilities, and other important projects.
