**ANNOUNCEMENT** Workers World Party – Boston endorses
Workers Party of Massachusetts candidates for State Representative
Devin Kreinbring (10th Suffolk) and Andrew Nelson (2nd Bristol)
May 9, 2026 — Members of Workers World Party – Boston raise a collective fist of solidarity and
enthusiastically endorse candidates for Massachusetts State Representative Devin Kreinbring (10th
Suffolk) and Andrew Nelson (2nd Bristol), running on the program of the Workers Party of
Massachusetts.
Never has it been more urgent and necessary that the working class and oppressed people have parties
and representatives for and from our class, independent of the two main ruling-class, capitalist parties
in the U.S., the Democrats and Republicans.
For generations, Republicans and Democrats have traded places at the local, state and federal
government level promoting policies that have led to endless wars while the wealthy few get richer and
the rest of us poorer and deeper in debt. Today, the two ruling-class parties are indistinguishable in
their support for Israel and the U.S.-Israeli genocidal wars against Palestine, Iran and Lebanon. In
Massachusetts and Boston — both currently run by Democrats — politicians are preparing the people
for budget cuts in vital social services like education, healthcare and housing programs while
promoting Raytheon, Elbit Systems and other corporations of the military-industrial complex.
While giving some lip service to immigrant rights, the Democratic Massachusetts governor, Boston’s
mayor and Kreinbring and Nelson’s incumbent opponents in the state legislature have supported
measures to strengthen the racist police state while doing little concretely to stop U.S. Immigration and
Customs Enforcement (ICE) from terrorizing our immigrant neighbors and coworkers.
The Workers Party of Massachusetts has a program which is a real alternative for working,
oppressed and poor people. It calls for socialism and international workers solidarity to replace
capitalism with its forever imperialist wars; for working-class solidarity against bigotry and systemic
oppression; for ecological sustainability against capitalist-driven destruction of the environment; for a
revolutionary transformation of society to full workers’ rights, full voting rights, housing, healthcare,
jobs and education as a right for all; the abolition of policing and mass incarceration and the outlawing
of oppression against women, gender non-conforming and LGBTQIA2S+ people. The Workers Party’s
extensive program is a breath of fresh air. Read it in full at:

Voters in the Massachusetts 10th Suffolk and 2nd Bristol state rep districts don’t have to hold their
noses to vote for some “lesser evil” in November. Finally, we can vote for what we want and what
we need — representatives of the working class and a program for working-class power!
