Contact JENRA today and voice your support for Bill H.2777, An Act to enable the Commonwealth's administration of the Massachusetts Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. Delegating NPDES authority to MassDEP is the right thing to do. Local management = better H2O resources protection. MassDEP already successfully manages Massachusetts' clean air, hazardous waste, and drinking water programs. Help us join the 47 other states who are successfully managing their own clean water permits.

Thank you MassDEP for aligning with EPA’s timeline for the MS4 permit. The MS4 permit’s implementation will be delayed by one year, a decision that supports both the environment and Massachusetts communities. MA communities will continue to manage stormwater to benefit the environment, residents, and businesses.

MassDEP is being reasonable and prudent! Postponing the state during the appeal process makes sense.

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is doing the right thing by postponing the state . Doing so saves our communities time and unnecessary expenses while the permit is appealed.
