Students for a Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) is an international network of students and activists who recognize the harm of drug abuse and also that the current prohibitive, punishment-based scheme of drug policy known as the "War on Drugs" is not working. We seek to change the paradigm of drug policy to a more public health-based and compassionate approach by advocacy and education. This group is

the SSDP chapter for Boston University, an institution of higher education located in Boston, Massachusetts. As long as you support our objective of changing the current inhumane and unworkable policy on drugs, we welcome you to join us, a passionate and open-minded group of concerned and active students. Past campaigns including registering students to vote for the legalization of medical cannabis in Massachusetts. We also hold fun and informative events in BU, including film screenings, lectures, and panel discussions.
