She said “my smile brought her hope” so I smiled even though my heart was aching for her and the 15 other women who I spent the morning with.

Meet, Bisha: She has been homeless for 3 years. No drugs or alcohol history. She lost her job and was abandoned by her family. Being a single woman (with no children) and no credit has made it extremely difficult for her to get housing. Bisha, still has hope that one day she will make it off the waiting list and get out of the shelter.

There are so many other women who share similar challenges as Bisha and that’s why my work at Begin To Dream Again is so important. We are working tirelessly to purchase a home to help women like Bisha.
