Great to visit Shepley Wood Products (now QXO) in Hyannis and see how the Workforce Training Fund Program is helping them invest in their employees through training in leadership development, workplace ESOL, process improvement, customer service, and more.

Since January 2023, the program has awarded $100 million to help more than 3,800 Massachusetts employers train over 82,700 workers—strengthening businesses and building a more skilled workforce across the Commonwealth.

The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced $5.9 million in Senator Kenneth J. Donnelly Workforce Success Grants to help train and hire more than 900 residents while strengthening the talent pipeline for employers across the Commonwealth.

Administered by Commonwealth Corporation through the Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund, this latest round of awarded funding to 12 initiatives that bring together employers and training providers to prepare individuals for in-demand careers in health care, logistics, education, and information technology.
