NAMI Greater Boston is dedicated to offering individuals and families in Boston evidence-based education and support programs that address the chaos, isolation and stigma of serious mental illness. Ignorance about mental illness is widespread. When it strikes a family, there can seem nowhere to turn for help. If you or a loved one has faced this overwhelming challenge, the good news is you are not

alone. Empathy and knowledgeable support are available. We can offer wise words of advice at a monthly support group meeting, or an opportunity to tap into a helpline to help get through mental health crises, or help navigating the bureaucracies, or evidence-based educational programs for families with loved ones suffering mental illness. If you believe that you or someone you know can benefit from NAMI’s support groups, programs and resources click on education and/or support group.
