CDMA Environmental Caucus The official Environmental Caucus of the College Dems of MA, working to secure a greener and more energy efficient future.

The caucus system of the College Democrats of Massachusetts provides college students the unique opportunity to become involved with groups and issues that really matter to them and progressive politics. As the Democratic Party is composed of many coalitions and concerns, the caucus program allows chapters to engage like-minded student organizations and individuals on their respective campuses. Ca

ucuses support legislation and candidates that embody their values and interests. Further, it will enables the College Democrats of Massachusetts to build relationships with organizations and institutions across the Commonwealth, providing our membership with opportunities to take direct action, attend events, network, and receive internships.

Massachusetts needs to continue leading on climate change policy by pursuing more aggressive legislation. Climate policy needs to be a priority for Governor Baker and the legislature.

Massachusetts has been a leader when it comes to environmental legislation but, in the wake of a federal report detailing the impact of climate change, many local activists say that there is more to be done.
