Future Soldiers enlisting in the Regular and Army Reserves to include Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Cadets are guaranteed a job interview and possible employment, with a PaYS partner, upon completion of their Reserve training or first term of service.

MAJ Torrence Yarbrough continues to serve in the South Carolina Army National Guard (SCARNG) while building his civilian career in law enforcement with the Albemarle County Police Department, a PaYS partner. His story highlights how Army leadership, discipline and decision-making skills can carry into a civilian career while allowing Soldiers to continue serving both their country and their community.

From his continued service in the SCARNG to his work with the Albemarle County Police Department, MAJ Yarbrough demonstrates how military experience can help shape meaningful civilian career opportunities. His journey also highlights the value of PaYS in connecting Soldiers with organizations that recognize the skills, experience and leadership they bring to the workforce.
