Could have been a lot worse in such a tight neighborhood. Great stop by the members last night!!

This morning at approximately 03:30 hours The Boston Fire Department responded to the area of 1428 Columbia Road for the reported fire on a rear porch. First arriving companies found heavy fire showing in the rear of multiple dwellings. The fire rapidly spread to a total of 7 multi-family homes and reached a 7-Alarm Fire. 5 firefighters were injured in the blaze and at least 35 people are displaced. The fire has been knocked down at this time and heavy overhaul is underway. We will have a full gallery of images up soon.

Firefighter union begs for help - Boston Herald

Firefighters , not only in Boston , but across the State are facing exposures daily while trying to help others in need.
Hopefully the State Legislature passes these bills in a timely fashion to help protect First Responders from across the State. These men and women are out there daily doing their jobs and helping others while battle against this virus.

The state firefighter union president is sounding the alarm over a potential โ€œvery large spikeโ€ in firefighters sidelined by coronavirus over the next few weeks, calling for legislative help as protective equipment runs thin.
