Boston Firefighters Local 718 deeply regrets to announce the passing of Brother Firefighter Matthew Troy, Engine Company 10, Line of Duty Death-Cancer.
Brother Troy epitomized what it means to be a Boston Firefighter. The courage and determination he displayed in the performance of his duties was outmatched only by his spirit in his fight against cancer.
We ask that everyone respect his family during this difficult time and hold them in your thoughts and prayers. (L-718)

Over 1,600 personnel serve over 600,000 people today, responding to over 70,000 emergency calls every year.

Thank you.
