Bus stop incidents in both Somerset and Cambria Counties today remind us how important bus stop safety really is.

DRIVERS: Slow down, prepare to stop at yellow lights, and never pass a bus with red lights flashing.

PARENTS & STUDENTS: Wait safely away from the road, avoid distractions, and cross only when you’re sure it’s safe to do so.

Let’s all do our part to keep our kids safe at the stop!

🎃 It’s Trick-or-Treat Night in Boswell!
Trick-or-treat runs 6–7 PM TONIGHT (Thursday, October 30th). Please slow down and watch for kids and families crossing the streets.

At 7 PM, you’ll hear the fire whistle, that’s your cue that trick-or-treat has ended and the parade is on the move from the high school to the fire station. Come on down to the station afterward for a treat bag and say hi to your BVFD volunteers!

🚒 Our crews will be out on foot and in trucks, and fire police will have cones and signage along Main Street to help calm traffic and keep everyone safe.
