Bothell Parks & Recreation

Bothell Parks & Recreation Parks & Recreation improves quality of life through development of community spaces and programming.

PARKS
City of Bothell has 400 acres of parks, open space and trails. Our parks showcase the Sammamish River and the City's history, as well as provide an opportunity to get away from it all. Throughout our parks are a variety of rentable facilities – including two indoor meeting/event spaces, four picnic shelters, and three sportsfield complexes. COMMUNITY EVENTS
Our annual community events are wh

at give Bothell that hometown feel and the ability to get to know your neighbors. Parks & Recreation organizes a variety of events including the 4th of July Parade, Summer Nights in Bothell, and Safe Halloween. Thanks to our event sponsors, all of these events are offered for free! Parks & Recreation also issues permits for medium and large-scale special events hosted in the Bothell community. ARTS & CULTURE
In partnership with the Arts Commission, Parks & Recreation works to publicly demonstrate the importance of art, nurture and promote Bothell’s artist community, engage and respond to community needs, and develop a sustainable arts infrastructure. Bothell City Council adopted the Strategic Cultural Plan in 2020, and work continues on the implementation plan thanks to funding from 4Culture.

It’s time! Bothell’s seasonal Pop-up Dog Park is officially open now through early September. Our operations team has done an amazing job preparing the site and installing the fencing and equipment to make this off-leash space ready for our community and their pups.

The off-leash dog park is located on the north side of Park at Bothell Landing. The park includes two designated off-leash areas — one for large dogs and one for small dogs.

◾Location: 9919 NE 180th St, Bothell, WA 98011

Survive the Sound returns April 27 to May 1 and it’s going to be one epic journey! We’re gearing up for this year’s steelhead migration race, but first we need your help choosing which fish will represent Team Bothell.

Never heard of Survive the Sound? It’s a fun, interactive online game based on real fish tracking data to help raise awareness about endangered salmon and steelhead in the Pacific Northwest. Along the way, you’ll learn more about these iconic species and how we can all help protect them for the healthier waters, communities, and orcas.

We’ll count the votes on Earth Day, then we’ll announce your pick to Survive the Sound. Let’s go, Team Bothell!
