Loren Long has illustrated books by Barack Obama, Madonna and Amanda Gorman. His No. 1 best seller, “The Yellow Bus,” took him in a different direction — one that required time, patience and toothpicks.

Hello, friends! We’ve been seeing more trash thrown around the library lately and would like to ask that if you’re visiting the library (or walking by), please take any trash you or your pup generates with you…

That way the little free library and our garden area can continue to be enjoyed by all!

Did you know the Bothell PCC Community Markets location in Canyon Park has a Little Free Library just for cookbooks? It does!

We had someone generously donate a ton of cookbooks to our children’s library, so we rehomed them to this library, which seemed more appropriate… 🧑‍🍳🥘

If you have cookbooks you’re looking to donate, PCC’s LFL is a great option! 🙂

Hello, book readers!

If you have gently used children’s books for babies, tweens, or teens that you’ve outgrown, we are currently accepting book donations for our Little Free (Children’s) Library!

Note: Books up to 11” tall will fit in the library shelf - any oversized picture books, etc. will not fit… And likewise, really thin booklets get crushed on the shelf, so we avoid those two types.

If you have books you’d like to donate, send us a PM and a photo of your book donation and we’ll give you a drop off address.

Hi, Bothell neighbors! We are doing a little Easter Egg reading-themed scavenger hunt tomorrow, April 16th (Saturday), from 9-5pm. It’s a self-guided activity… and you could win a Barnes & Noble gift card!

Stop by our a little free library, pick up a book or two, and join in on our scavenger hunt.

Here’s how to play:
1) Find the Easter egg(s) and post a photo of it as a comment under this post.

The eggs are hidden along 212th street. Don’t take the eggs (leave them for others to find) - a 📸 photo of the egg is all you need to enter! Note: There are 11 numbered eggs - find and post a pic of each egg for extra chances to win!

UPDATE: Our Instagram page for Canyon Firs LFL has been hacked by someone in Europe, and we are still locked out of the page… Instagram and Facebook have not been helpful in resolving the matter, so until we regain access of our page, please do not engage with it! (Even if it doesn’t “look” hacked, we are not in control of the page at the moment.)

Hopefully they see this post and help us resolve the issue! Going through their online process of reporting it hasn’t worked to unlock it.

Lots of great books for TEENS in the library for teens & adults next door, Canyon Firs Little Free Library II! Just restocked this morning… 🎉📚😉
