🚧 South Street Project Update 🚧

You may have noticed it rained in Botkins this week. Just a little. Maybe once or twice. Or constantly.

Due to the rain, progress on the South Street Reconstruction Project was delayed this week. Crews were still able to complete some stormwater work, and the stormwater portion of the project is now nearing completion.

With better weather expected next week, crews will have the opportunity to begin road grading and subgrade stabilization. This work helps prepare and strengthen the base of the road before the new road surface is installed.

We appreciate everyone’s continued patience and cooperation as the project keeps moving forward!

🚧 South Street Project Update 🚧

Progress continues on the South Street Reconstruction Project!

The stormwater main replacement work is nearing completion, marking another important step forward in the project. This underground work is a key part of improving drainage and supporting the long-term reliability of the street infrastructure.

Next week, crews are expected to begin subgrade stabilization and road surface grading. In plain terms, this means preparing and strengthening the road base so it is ready for the new road surface later in the project.

We continue to thank residents for their patience and cooperation as work moves forward. Please continue to use alternate routes when available, and as always, contact the Village Office with any questions.
