Historic Downtown Boulder Creek is bustling with activity as local artist Yeshe Jackson works on a gigantic mural immortalizing Albert the white peacock of Boulder Creek! The next time you're visiting Jenna Sue's Cafe or any of the businesses at the Forest Corners building at 13090 Highway 9 in Boulder Creek, have a look around the corner to view Yeshe's progress!

The traditional lighting of the town tree happens this evening, Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Historic Downtown Boulder Creek!

Tree lighting alert! Saturday, December 2 from 1:00 to 7:00 pm in Historic Downtown Boulder Creek, the community is invited to celebrate the season with an all-day crafter market, hot food, adult beverages, and handcrafted cocoa; kids craft activities, photos with Santa; live music from the San Lorenzo Valley Jazz Band, Buffalo Blues Trio, and the Dirt Rakers. Then, suddenly, Santa appears riding atop a shiny red Boulder Creek Volunteer Fire Department engine, and neighbors young and old from all across the Santa Cruz Mountains will count down the lighting of the town tree between 5:30 and 5:45 pm.
