๐€๐”๐‘๐Ž๐‘๐€ โ€“ Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 Special Agents arrested 32-year-old Andrew Dunlop III of Aurora, IL for three counts of Unlawful Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (Class 3 Felony).

In June of 2025, ISP Special Agents received an online tip and began an extensive investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse materials in DuPage County. Special Agents identified Dunlop as the suspect. On May 7, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at Dunlopโ€™s residence in the 2000 block of Waters Edge Circle, in Aurora. โ€‹ Special Agents and analysts with the Attorney Generalโ€™s Office presented the case to the DuPage County Stateโ€™s Attorneyโ€™s Office who approved the above-mentioned charges. On May 28, 2026, officers arrested Dunlop. Dunlop is currently being held at the DuPage County Jail pending his first court appearance.
