🏅Our Sunset Trail Running Festival medal has arrived!

Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Gold Hill, Colorado, the medal captures the magic of trail running in the Rocky Mountains. The centrepiece features a runner silhouetted against a stunning mountain sunset, with golden light spilling across rugged peaks, pine forests and historic mining structures that pay homage to Gold Hill’s rich heritage.

The vibrant ribbon is equally impressive, showcasing dramatic canyon walls and alpine scenery in deep purples and fiery oranges that perfectly reflect the colours of a Colorado sunset. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to evoke adventure, exploration and the sense of accomplishment that comes from conquering mountain trails.

This isn’t just a finisher medal, it’s a keepsake. A piece of art that tells the story of an unforgettable day on the trails and serves as a lasting reminder of the challenge, beauty and spirit of the Sunset Trail Running Festival.

On Sunday June 21st, runners won’t just earn a medal. They’ll earn a symbol of their journey through one of Colorado’s most stunning mountain landscapes. 🌄🏃‍♀️⛰️

Bold. Beautiful. Uniquely Colorado. A medal worthy of every mile.

Hey! We're hosting the Sunset Trail Running Festival on June 21 up in Gold Hill and it’s going to be so much fun! The course is along the Switzerland Trail (popping right now!) and the proceeds go to community scale fire preparedness/mitigation efforts! There’s still time to register to run and we’re still in need of volunteers! If you sign up to volunteer (think aid station support, traffic help, general crowd management), I can share a discount code for runners that accompany you for the day! Reach out for more details! Thanks!
