Join us for the upcoming May Speaker Series event exploring the vital role of Beavers as critical Ecosystem Engineers and why restoration and protection are vital to ensuring a thriving Colorado future.

We’re honored to co-host alongside Jen Clanahan of Colorado Nature League, Jackie Corday of Corday Natural Resources Consulting, Dr. Lauren McCain of Animal Welfare Institute (), Aubyn Royall of Humane World for Animals (), and Abby Burk of National Audubon Society () for all to better understand beavers, all the amazing things they do, and the continued efforts to restore them and coexist.

Come chat with BWC, Louisville Fire, and on Saturday, May 2, 10am-2pm for Wildfire Preparedness Day. The local Fire Smart Louisville project (link in bio!), sponsored by the NFPA wildfire preparedness day grant, will host a wildfire resilience educational event at the Louisville Recreation and Senior Center to answer questions, provide resources, and promote Fire Smart Louisville programs available this summer.

Join us on Wednesday, February 25th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for a community meeting to learn about the Tram Hill Fuels Reduction Project, hosted by the City of Boulder, Colorado State Forest Service, and the Boulder Watershed Collective. This meeting will be hosted in person at the Boulder Fire Station #3 at the cross streets of Valmont and 30th, or join over zoom at the link provided when you register to attend virtually.

The Tram Hill Fuels Reduction Project is an 85-acre forestry project located west of the City of Boulder, with the goals of protecting critical water and energy transmission infrastructure, improving first responder access, and reducing the severity of wildfire.
