Boulder takes its stout defense on the road to Broomfield tonight, led by senior goalkeeper Austin Cornacchione.
Austin saved his second penalty kick of the season to secure Tuesday's 0-0 shutout against Fairview. He's been a masterclass in goal all year, including a 17-save performance against Cherry Creek that may be a program record.
Coming off their best soccer of the season against Fairview, the Panthers are poised to take points on the road as they build toward a strong non-conference finish before league play begins.
Boulder is unbeaten against BVSD opponents this season, with a win over Centaurus and a tie with Fairview. A win at Broomfield would earn district bragging rights and put the Panthers in a strong midseason spot before closing out non-conference play next week against Legacy. 🐾⚽️
