Midshipman of the Month and Semester

Congratulations to MIDN Shaw and MIDN Kellogg for being selected as the Midshipman of the Month and Midshipman of the Semester respectively!

MIDN Shaw has consistently demonstrated initiative and excelled at any tasks given to her as a member of the Public Affairs Team. In addition, the leadership she showed on the Colorado Meet color guard was a strong example for her peers.

MIDN Kellogg has consistently showed dedication and a commitment to excellence for everything he does for the unit. During the 2026 Sea Trials, MIDN Kellogg successfully ran the first aid and triage evolution, leading to his station being one of the most intensive and realistic.

Bravo Zulu to both of these Midshipmen!

His favorite ROTC memory is from his junior year Sea Trials.
“Planning and executing Sea Trials my junior year was incredible. Creating a scenario based on my experiences in the Middle East and being able to watch the underclassmen learn and grow from it was amazing.”
We wish MIDN Smith the best of luck in his future.
