Heads up for an intersection closure at 63rd and Jay Road next Tuesday, May 26 for a city paving project that will help wrap up their waterline work in the area.

🚧 Cone Zones Alert: north 63rd Street 🚧

Now that warmer nighttime temperatures have arrived, we will begin repaving sections of north 63rd Street from Twin Lakes Road to just north of Valmont Road at Boulder Creek.

— On Tuesday, May 26, construction will require a full, 1-day closure of the 63rd Street and Jay Road intersection for both bicycle and vehicle traffic.
— Following the full closure, travelers can expect single-lane closures into mid-June.
— Schedules are dependent on weather conditions. Work is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
— For updates and detours, visit Cone Zones.

This planned road repaving follows the completion of a project to replace and upgrade a critical segment of Boulder's drinking water system. The project aims to protect public health and safety, improve water distribution resilience, and strengthen drinking water service to the community.
