Boulder Mountain Handmade Market will be held this year at the Elks Lodge on Nov 8th and 9th and is THE annual fundraising event sponsored by the Boulder Mountain Fire Auxiliary. All funds raised are used to support our amazing fire department.

Our special market-within-the market, Boulder Mountain Creates, showcases art and craft items created and donated by Boulder Mountain Fire district residents. Maybe you’re a hobbyist creator with a little time and a few ideas to contribute to this special marketplace? Do you knit, crochet, sew, weave, can, garden or make cards or other art? We are always looking for all types of art and crafts. Or, maybe you’d like to meetup with other neighbors at community maker events this summer and fall. We are currently scheduling more crafting and sewing sessions for July and August. Let us know if you want to be included on our mailing list for dates and details.

It’s amazing how many creative people live in our fire district. What a fun and easy way to give back to our wonderful fire department! All creative items are welcomed…if you can make it, and we think we could sell it, we would love for you to donate it to the market! Please consider putting your creative energy to use this summer to help support BMFPD.

“Before The Power Goes Out" Information Session

Neighbors,

Boulder Mountain Fire Auxiliary is working on a community education session on preparing for a power outage and options for backup power.

We’re piloting this session at the upcoming Auxiliary meeting, this Sunday at BMF Station 2 (details below). BMF Chief John Benson will lead us through this discussion with time for Q&A.

Please consider attending; your feedback will help us shape the session for a future presentation to the community.

The Auxiliary business meeting begins at 3 pm, and Chief Benson’s talk will start around 3:30. We’ll wrap up around 4:30.
