We are excited to host the Gunbarrel Library and the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program on Friday, June 12, from 2:45–3:30 PM. Come meet hawks, owls, and other amazing raptors while learning more about these incredible birds of prey.

This is a fun and educational event for all ages, and we hope to see you there!

🚒 Truman’s Treasures 🚒
At Boulder Rural Fire Rescue, caring for our community goes beyond emergency response. We are proud to introduce Truman’s Treasures, a program that provides free medical and mobility equipment to residents within our fire district who need temporary support while recovering from surgery, injury, or other mobility-related challenges.
Available mobility aids include:
• Wheelchairs
• Transfer chairs
• Walkers
• Knee scooters
• Canes
• Crutches
• Shower chairs
• Stair-assist canes
How it works:
All equipment is available on a loan basis. If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, simply fill out the request form on our website, and we will follow up with you.
This program is made possible by donations to BRFR. Your support helps neighbors stay safe, independent, and comfortable at home during recovery.

Did you know your Boulder Rural Firefighters are trained and equipped for far more than just fighting fires? Members are extensively trained and equipped for a myriad of rescue operations including vehicle extrication, rope rescue, water rescue, and other technical rescues.

This week, the crews of Rescue Engine 323 and Medic 323 have been rotating through advanced vehicle stabilization and extrication training, practicing the techniques used to safely access, stabilize, and remove patients from heavily damaged vehicles.

🚴‍♂️ Tour de Victory is rolling into town today! 🚴‍♀️

Get ready for an exciting day as cyclists take on the Tour de Victory bike race, featuring 20K, 50K, and 100K routes. Whether you're riding, cheering, or just out and about, there will be plenty of activity throughout the area.

⚠️ Please use caution on the roads:
• Watch for cyclists sharing the roadway
• Be mindful of spectators along the route
• Expect volunteers directing traffic and assisting riders
