The Borough's Tax Office held a successful Senior Property Tax Relief Filing Event 📄 yesterday, August 5th, 2026. Staff from the New Jersey Department of the Treasury - Division of Taxation, came to Borough Hall to assist 67 individuals over the age of 65 with the filing of their property taxes. Participants were also treated to refreshments in the hall, as they waited, thanks to the Finance department!

The Bound Brook Recreation Department was also in attendance at this event! They connected with seniors and shared information about 55+ friendly activities coming up this fall, including Chair Yoga and Zumba Gold. Interested in checking out what they have to offer? Head to www.bbrec.org today!

Join the Mayor, Council and Borough employees on Thursday, August 13th at 6 PM for the unveiling and commemoration of the BRAND-NEW Bound Brook Recreation Center mural, painted by artist Tony Mills.

We are so happy to celebrate this exciting, colorful and joyful addition to Codrington Park!

Somerset County, NJ is hosting two recycling events this Saturday, July 11th, from 8 AM - 2 PM.

Please see below for details:
The First Saturday Drop-off will take place at the Somerset County Recycling Center, located at 40 Polhemus Lane, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.

The Electronic Waste Drop-off event will take place at the South County Public Works Garage, located at 410 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.

Residents must stay inside their vehicles while staff unload all recyclable materials.

Proof of Somerset County residency is required. Accepted documents include a valid driver's license, lease, tax bill, or utility bill. Businesses and commercial vehicles are NOT permitted. Pre-registration is not required.

Such an exciting moment for the Brook Arts Center and the Borough of Bound Brook👏

Seeing all of the shots inside the theater and outside on Hamilton Street in the trailer alone was magnificent! We can't wait to see the film when it debuts (no pun intended😉)! We are so incredibly proud of our town 💓
