Their unwavering dedication to providing all of the newest and up-to-date tools and expertise enhances our programs tremendously. Spent the last few days supporting Rescue Redefined in Michigan at the Great Lakes HOT extraction classes—and what an incredible experience.
Firefighters from across North America had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train at the GM Proving Grounds, cutting up more than $3.5 million worth of vehicles. Yes… $3.5M!
Even more impressive? Not a single gas-powered vehicle in the mix—every one was electric. From Hummer EVs and Escalade EVs to Silverado EVs, this was cutting-edge, real-world training on the future of vehicle extrication.
The only downside… being at the proving grounds means strict no-photo rules. So unfortunately, no shots of the vehicles—or the Corvette E-Rays ripping laps on the track nearby.
