Edmunds County children have benefited from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. So thankful for Dolly's commitment to getting books in the hands of children.

The Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has gifted 300,000,00+ books since its inception 31 years ago, with 3,000,000+ given to children each month in FIVE COUNTRIES. Her wildly successful literacy initiative is a tribute to her father, whose inability to read "probably kept him from fulfilling all his dreams."

Dolly is a true librarian, and we salute her; she lived the truth through her Imagination Library-- "you can never get enough books into the hands of enough children."

Rest in Peace, Dolly. You made a big difference to a lot of us.

Thank you to all who have helped the last couple weeks by boxing books up, moving bookshelves out, ripping carpet out, piecing the bookshelves back together, and unpacking books. The carpet is in and looks great! The library will be open tomorrow. Come see the new carpet and check out a book for the weekend!
