The City is currently responding to a water main break affecting the Lakeshore Drive and Garrett Circle area. (Other areas near by maybe effected as well)

🚨 WATER MAIN BREAK NOTICE 🚨

There is currently a water main break in the area of Roy Baynor Road after a cable installation crew accidentally struck a water line.

Our Public Works crew is on site and actively working to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible. Residents in the area may experience low water pressure or temporary water service interruptions while repairs are underway.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to restore service.

Utility System Outage Notice

Our utility system is currently experiencing an outage, and we are unable to access customer accounts or process transactions at this time.

As a result, we are unable to accept or process:

Utility (water) payments
Business license payments
Permit payments
Any other transactions that require access to our utility system

At this time, we do not have an estimated timeframe for when the system will be restored. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work with our service provider to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

🚨 WATER MAIN BREAK NOTICE 🚨

The City of Bowdon is currently responding to a water main break in the area of Big Indian Creek Road, W. 166, and Stateline Road.

The break was caused when a cable company accidentally struck the water main. Our Public Works Department has been actively working on repairs since earlier today and is making every effort to restore service as quickly as possible.

Residents in the affected area may experience a temporary interruption in water service. We anticipate that service will be restored within the next few hours.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while repairs are being completed.

⚠️ WATER MAIN BREAK ⚠️ May 23,2026

There is currently a water main break in the area of 145 North Carroll in Bowdon. Water services are temporarily affected and crews are actively working to repair the damage.

The break was caused after a cable company struck the water main while digging in the area. Services are expected to be restored within the next few hours.
