It is no secret that Ohio weather can be unpredictable. Lately with high rainfall many areas of the state are experiencing devastating flooding. While I'm happy to say that our department trains and is ready for those calls, we'd much rather you all just stay safe. With that here are a few important reminders. It only takes a few inches of moving water to sweep a person or vehicle down river. People are hurt or killed every year across the country by floods. Please do not drive or walk in flooded areas. Turn around don't drown is the saying we use. Please listen for weather updates and have a plan. In the event of a tornado warning get to your lowest level and stay away from windows or hazards.
