National Night Out gives the community an opportunity to engage with our local law enforcement, neighbors, organizations and local businesses. The Bowie Police Department is actively looking for a missing 11-year-old black male Jacari Kegler. He was last seen wearing a blue and orange tie dye shirt blue shorts with a white stripe on them and brown shoes with a blue backpack. last seen in the 14800 blk of pepper tree dr. The Bowie City Council is pleased to announce the selection of Ms. Angel L. Jones as the next City Manager of the City of Bowie, beginning July 20, 2026.

Ms. Jones was selected after a comprehensive nationwide search. She brings more than 30 years of distinguished executive leadership in municipal government and currently serves as City Manager for Missouri City, Texas.
