What an evening! 💫

Last night, we came together for Ardmore's Annual Meeting to celebrate all that we accomplished in FY2026, and what a year it was!

We reflected on the achievements, milestones, and moments that made this year so special, recognized Hope Walker from RCM&D and Judith Stackhouse as our 2026 Award recipients, shared our hopes and vision for the future of Ardmore, and most importantly, we celebrated the incredible community that makes our mission possible.

To everyone who joined us, has supported us throughout this year, and continues to be part of our community, thank you. 💚

Last night we also announced a $10,000 fundraising goal for the month and thanks to the generosity shown last night we are already more than halfway there!

Last week, Ardmore staff had the opportunity to attend the annual APSE conference!

Our team spent three days discussing how to tackle current industry challenges, sharing evidence-based practices, and connecting with fellow advocates, state agencies, and families.

Our staff has come back from the conference inspired, excited, and ready to hit the ground running with the new knowledge, insight, and resources they gained from the conference.

Part of being means showing up for each other and that's exactly what three of the transitioning youth aged men we support did this past week! 💚

When Hanson, Myles, and Ramon learned that a friend in the community was struggling to keep up with his yardwork, they stepped in to help. 🪴

With the help of two staff members to lend some extra hands, the men ended the day looking at beautiful yard and the beginning of a genuine connection. 💙

This week some of the people we support attended, The Arc of Prince George's County's Candidate Meet & Greet where they participated in conversations with candidates ahead of the June 23 primary, helping ensure their perspectives were represented and their voices were heard.

By fostering meaningful civic engagement, we move closer to building communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered.

Spring is in full swing! 🌷

Ardmore staff and some of the people we support took a break from their regular routines to enjoy some sunshine and great weather yesterday during our Spring Social.

Together they enjoyed socializing, games, painting, music and dancing, and some even tapped into their culinary side with our resident chef Atiba!

It was a great day of relationship building and strengthening within the Ardmore community.
