Only two concerts remain in this year's Summer Concert Series!

Don't miss your chance to enjoy an evening of live music at Allen Pond Park. This Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., "Roberta Lea" brings the sounds of country for a fun, relaxing night in the park.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather your family and friends, and soak up one of the last concerts of the summer.

Admission is free. Canned food donations are welcome and will benefit the Bowie Food Pantry.

Step back in time and discover the story behind Maryland’s historic one-room schoolhouses at a free DAR lecture on September 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Belair Mansion.

The presentation will explore how these small schools shaped rural communities from the years following the Civil War through the 1920s, while highlighting the unique histories, architectural styles, and educational ideas connected to them. No registration is required.
