🐻💚 A PEEK INTO THE PAST FEW WEEKS AT GOLD-BURG! 🖤🤍
We’ve been busy learning, creating, celebrating, and making memories here at Gold-Burg! From classroom adventures to Homecoming fun, our Bears have had lots to share. Here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to! 🐾
📚 LEARNING & CLASSROOM FUN
🏴☠️ Mrs. Shipley visited Ms. Gardner’s Pre-K class for a fun pirate-themed read-aloud!
🔎 Mrs. McClellan’s first graders went on a noun hunt around the classroom!
📖 Our first graders also learned all about the Mayan civilization and put their knowledge together in a class book!
💰 Mrs. Morrison’s class had fun in centers, from counting money to testing their engineering skills! 😂
📚 Mr. Rodger’s fifth graders have been busy reading their AR books!
🌟 Ms. Baker’s fourth-grade class celebrated their Student of the Week!
🏝️ Mrs. Mangus’s third graders joined in the Homecoming fun with Tourist/Hawaiian Day and Disney Day!
🏈 HOMECOMING HAPPENINGS
👯 Twin Day brought plenty of matching outfits and school spirit!
🎉 Mrs. Morrison’s class created their own mini Homecoming parade floats and proudly paraded them down to the Homecoming pep rally. They did a fantastic job!
🏃 CROSS COUNTRY
Our Bears have been hitting the trails! We’ve enjoyed capturing memories from cross country, including the Olney Invitational Cross Country Meet. Great job to our runners for representing Gold-Burg! 🐻🏃♀️🏃♂️

💗💙💜 GOLD-BURG STANDS TOGETHER
Our entire school community came together wearing pink, blue, and purple to show love and support for our neighboring school communities of Bowie, Montague, and Sanger following the tragic loss of students. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the students, families, staff, and communities affected by these heartbreaking losses. ❤️
☕ BEAR NECESSITIES IS BREWING!
Mrs. Cox has been busy working on our newest Bear Necessities coffee orders! 🐻☕ We love bringing a little extra energy and fun to our school days!
