The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is an international non-profit association representing all segments of the tire industry, including those that manufacture, repair, recycle, sell, service or use new or retreaded tires, and also those suppliers or individuals who furnish equipment, material or services to the industry. The mission of TIA is to promote tire safety through training and education,

to act as the principal advocate in government affairs, and to enhance the image and professionalism of the industry so that our member businesses may be more successful.

Turns out, even the CEO has a boss. 🐾😂

Meet Sofi, the four-legged executive keeping TIA CEO Dick Gust on track. And judging by the glasses, suit and very official list of priorities, she takes her responsibilities *very* seriously.

Her leadership philosophy? Keep the team focused, make the big decisions and never schedule a meeting during treat time.

Dick may have the CEO title, but we know Sofi has the final say around the office. 😉

We’re excited to share that Josephine Foley, Manager of Safety & Fleet for Sullivan Tire, has been elected Secretary of the Tire Industry Association! 🎉

Josephine has been a valued member of the TIA Board of Directors and will continue to bring her industry knowledge, leadership and passion for safety to this new role.

Her election as Secretary also places Josephine in TIA’s officer rotation to serve as President during the 2028–29 term.

First item on his agenda? Adding a doggy room service menu to the OTR Tire Conference. 🦴
