For those who may be new here, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself.

This is District 8. Our new district. And this is who I am.

I grew up here, I work here, and I care deeply about getting things back to common sense and putting our communities first.

I’m a lifelong Eastern Baltimore County resident, small business owner, truck driver, president of the Essex Middle River Civic Council, and longtime community advocate who believes local government should focus on the basics:
public safety, infrastructure, accountability, and quality of life for the people who live here.

I’ve spent years showing up, standing up for our neighborhoods, and working on the issues that matter to our communities.

Appreciate everyone following along and supporting this campaign.

Thank you to the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighters Association for the invitation tonight to speak with leadership from volunteer fire companies across the county. 🚒

Really appreciated the opportunity to listen, discuss the challenges facing volunteer recruitment and retention, and talk about ways Baltimore County can better support the men and women who volunteer their time protecting our communities every day.

Volunteer fire companies have been a backbone of Baltimore County for generations and continue to save taxpayers millions while providing critical emergency response and community support.

Thank you again for having me tonight.

This intersection redesign proposal at Old Eastern Avenue and Eastern Boulevard was presented to the community in October 2024.

The highlighted green areas are proposed permanent curb bump outs intended to shorten pedestrian crossing distance.

These temporary pipes were installed by SHA to test the concept and evaluate traffic flow after residents repeatedly raised concerns that removing the acceleration lane would create additional congestion and push vehicles to bypass the intersection by cutting through the 7-11 parking lot instead.

The concern from many residents is that this could simply move potential pedestrian conflicts and safety issues to the entrances and exits of the 7-11 rather than improve overall safety.

If you live, drive, or travel through this area regularly, now is the time to review the proposal and provide feedback to SHA. Link is in the first comment.

Honored to receive the endorsement of Baltimore County Professional Firefighters Association IAFF Local 1311.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to get to know many of our firefighters, paramedics, and first responders here in Baltimore County through community events, station visits, and conversations about the challenges they face every day. One thing has become very clear to me… these men and women are some of the best people we have serving our communities.

Public safety is one of the most basic responsibilities of local government, and I’ll always support making sure our firefighters, EMS personnel, and first responders have the staffing, equipment, and support they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.

I truly appreciate the support and confidence from Local 1311 and look forward to continuing to work alongside the people who protect our communities every single day. 🚒

Beautiful morning out at the Bowleys Quarters Improvement Assoc clean-up today helping residents load dumpsters and clean out some unwanted stuff.

These community dumpster days are always a great service for the neighborhood and it was nice to spend a few hours outside lending a hand and talking with people. Appreciate everyone who helped make it happen this morning. 🌱
